2016 Husqvarna FE350S

So this one came at the wrong time but I'm glad it happened. Before I bought my CRF300L, I went around asking all my buddies if anyone wanted to sell their FE350S Husqvarna or KTM equal. I was given prices that were more than I wanted to spend or was told NO!. It's a very popular bike that holds its value very well so I get why they weren't selling. Shortly after settling on the CRF300L one of those buddies called to ask if I was still interested? He gave me a price $2500 less than he originaly offered it to me and I had to grab it. Came with tons of goodies so I'm very lucky. My money stash has taken a hit but I sold my FE701 enduro for enough to make up most of the difference. My garage is too full, but my options are wonderful.

2023 Honda CRF 300 L

Latest acquisition back on September 8th 2023 was a 2023 CRF300L. Not exactly what I was looking for but light weight so I could carry it on my Sprinter Van. Oh yes, by the way I sold my motorhome 2 years ago during the last days of Covid and ordered a Sprinter which came in 11 months later. Spent the next year building it how I wanted and hopefully I will soon will get to do some traveling. The 300 has turned out to be a better bike than my 2018 250 Rally. more low end grunt with different gearing.

1996 Suzuki DR200 (SOLD)

 I got a call from a buddy that said his granddaughter had a motorcycle she needed to get rid of. It had been under a tarp for a few years in the backyard of a family she was a caregiver for. I picked it up and brought it home and cleaned it up. Carb was dirty and tank needed cleaning. It was full of spiders which continued to hatch for a month or two. I had bought a Chinese carburetor for it and couldn’t get it dialed in so I took it to a local dealership. They couldn’t fix it either and asked if I had the original Carb. They cleaned it up and now runs great. 

2009 KLR650 (SOLD)

This little beauty was purchased a few weeks ago. Found it scanning through Craigslist.
Killer deal I couldn't pass up and very clean. Probably flip it come springtime. It's a 2009 with 3K miles

 

2020 Husqvarna 701 Enduro (SOLD)

 The latest motorcycle was purchased back in September a 2020 Husqvarna 701 Enduro. I was was really beating myself up for selling my 501 Husky but I wasn't riding it much because there was no one to ride with. Either they were very accomplished dirt bike riders that would most defiantly get me in trouble or they had bikes that weren't dual sports and could only ride in the dirt.
 Once I had bought it a buddy (Mike Mueller) found a used KTM 690 EnduroR that he purchased and now I have a Adventure buddy. Our first trip was a last minute Mammoth Lakes/Moab/Death Valley ride.   During Covid we were able to remain pretty isolated and just have fun. Met up with Ernie and Michele who were on a Overlander trip to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon in their Rubicon Jeep. I also met a few of Mikes buddies who were fun to ride with. Nothing better than a sport you can distance with during Covid  2020.

2014 Honda Grom

I purchased this 2014 Honda Grom with 190 miles on it. These regularly go for about $3000-$2800. This one was 2000 so I figure I can flip it and make some money after I have a little fun with it.

So 4 months later it’s gone. Janeen wasn’t going to ride it and not really that much fun for a fat old man like myself. Sold it to a very nice guy who owned a Ruckus and all of his friends had Groms. He was happy and I broke even after bars and rack.
